What are OFRA GEMs?

• An OFRA GEM is a donor that Gives Every Month.
• Our GEMs pledge to support our fundraising efforts, donating a set amount every month until that pledge has been achieved.
• Monthly donations are a year-round reminder of the values you share with our OFRA residents, families, staff, and the community.
• Monthly gifts can also be made in honour or in memory of a loved one and can be designated to your building fund of choice.

How to Become a GEM?



• Set it and Forget it! Monthly donations can be set up below through CanadaHelps.org, by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or with a monthly charge to your credit card.
• You can donate smaller amounts regularly, reducing your monthly financial stress but donating a larger gift overall.
• Example: The average donor gives two gifts of $25 which is equivalent to $50 a year.  However, a monthly donation of $10  results in an overall donation of $120 per year.

• OFRA GEMs give 2x more than their previous annual donations.
• Currently we have 46 monthly donors giving an average of $30 a month.
• In Fiscal Year 2024, our GEMs cumulatively gave over $13,500!
• Consistent support helps us not only meet immediate needs but also empowers us to plan and execute long-term projects that will bring about lasting change to our residents.
• It's a simple, small way to make a BIG impact to OFRA seniors.
