"15 years ago, when I had my interview with Heidi, she asked me, 

‘Why do you want to do this volunteering?’ I answered. ‘I love dogs. 

And I hope when I get old the next generation of folks will be bringing their dogs in for a meet and greet'. Then I started playing the accordion for all the folks. I love seeing the joy on the faces of the residents as they interact with my dogs and when my accordion music brings back sweet memories. Love to All." - Sharron

"My dad passed away at MKK thirteen years ago. In the two years he lived there I was so impressed with the love, care, respect and dignity shown to him. I just knew I wanted to be a part of this wonderful organization. I have made many great friends at MKK. The residents have become my family. I am a part of them and they are a part of me. A friendly smile, a kind word and a hug means as much to me as it does to them. These wonderful folks have their own stories and often share them with me. Volunteering at OFRA is a very rewarding experience, each and every one of the MKK residents have touched my heart.”
